Why Uberplas is Proud to be an Export Champion

Happy New Year!

As we begin a brand-new decade, it’s important to take time to reflect on the year just gone. To see how far we’ve come before looking towards our goals for the future. 2019 was a pivotal year for Uberplas and I couldn’t be more excited for the growth and challenges to come in 2020.

Becoming Export Champion

The biggest achievement for us last year was being invited to join the Export Champions community. An initiative started by the Department for International Trade (DIT) and former Trade Secretary Dr Liam Fox.

As part of this new nationwide community, we are excited to be ambassadors for the UK exporting community.

We carry our Export Champion badge with pride and we are honoured to be among the 40 successful and inspirational exporters selected in London.

I am very proud that Uberplas is a part of this extraordinary community.

We are excited to work with the DIT and other inspiring British companies to grow and strengthen UK exporting and raise the profile of British goods and services worldwide.

With Brexit on the horizon, it will be more important than ever for the UK exporting to show our strength and potential in the global marketplace.

For Uberplas, this is a major milestone as a company. For me, this is an achievement I am truly proud of.

Celebrating Our Successes

When I founded Uberplas four years ago, my goal was for Uberplas to be a significant part of the solution for UK waste management and plastic recycling. To now be able to say we work tirelessly within the recycling and commodity plastics sector, collaborate with companies across global markets, and are an Export Champion is incredible.

I am so grateful for the Uberplas team, our partners and our customers. Without you, we would not be able to achieve all that we have achieved, nor would we be able to tackle the exciting challenges that face us in this next decade.

We look forward to celebrating many more achievements together in the coming decade.
